Through historical investigations, I create darkly humorous cultural artifacts reflecting on contemporary infrastructures and how dislocation and wreckage are embedded within modern political geographies. Working in new- and interdisciplinary media, I portray the links between design and violence within overlapping spaces of luxury and crime. Horror scenes, jewelry displays, and architectural rubble become stage sets for icons of fragmentation, presenting a dystopian iteration of modern Ornamentalism.
