An inventory of my recent sculptures and projects:
acetate stained glass windows; annotated etymologies; aquatic card catalogs; eBay archives; graveyard accessories; illegible tongue twisters; invented slang; piecemeal pre-sent postcards; plans for a verdant sculpture; stuffed-animal egos;
a number of laborious and fragile non-uments, tenuously constructed, including the tongue twisters, memorial party horns, a collection of the spaces between words clipped from a NY Times article on ISIS, and a series of vehicular break-in sculptures;
a variety of work focusing on the means of preservation itself, from a collection of objects representing satirical newspapers under repressive regimes to pseudo museum text displays accompanying false archives, to code wheels that reveal unique bilingual portmanteaux.
